Xueyin Chen (Sherry)

Besides data science, I am also passionate about music. I have played Guzheng (a traditional Chinese music instrument) for over ten years. I was active in all kinds of music activities in my undergraudate school. I played Guzheng in various events, be the judge in Singing Contest, and founded the Chinese Music Club.

Although I am busy studying data science in Berkeley and preparing for my future career , I still keep practicing Guzheng regularly. The music makes me focused and feel fresh. When I have time, I often invite friends with different culture backgrounds to my house, playing the Guzheng, sharing the story behind each music, listening to the story of my friends, and drinking a pot of Chinese tea together.
